A Postcard From The Future:

As an exercise intended on helping us try to imagine Stonehouse as an improved and transformed place, Shaun has decided he would like us to send him a postcard.
The postcard will have a picture on the front with some sort of adaptation to make it look as though it has been sent from 100+ years in the future and been transformed somewhat in the last century.

Postcard Ideas:

As my main point of focus is traffic specifically on Union Street, I am going to carry on this idea with my postcard.

I could take a photo of Union Street like this one I found on a postcard from Google.
However, i really want the traffic to be the independent focus of the postcard.

Another idea Iv had is to take a photo from within a car driving down Union Street out of the windscreen. This would give an inside look out from the traffics view, rather than seeing traffic as it passes. This could be edited in a way that gives a good insight of how the street may look after a number of years and with transformation and improvement having occurred.
Not only that, but a photo from within a vehicle traveling down Union Street will give a different look on how the area has been changed, maybe also causing a change to the way the traffic maneuvers.

The photo would be in the same style as the one on the right, only driving down Union Street. Once the photo has been taken, I could use Photoshop or Illustrator to change the street and give it my interpretation of how the street may look in the future.
