Before Going Forward, Lets Go Back

The main aim of this is to transform Stonehouse in a way that it is new, different and improved in some way so that it looks completely different and unrecognizable to people of today's age.
To help me gain more imagination of what it may look like in the next century or even longer, I decided to try and find an photograph by using Google of Union Street that was taken at least 100 years ago.
This will show me how much it has changed since it was taken compared to photos I have taken this year. It will also give an indication on how likely it is that it will change, by how much and not only if, but what may change over the period of the next 100+ years.

This is what I found, This photo was taken before the World War II. The exact date the photo was taken is unknown, but thought to have been taken between 1872-1941, based on the fact that transportation via Plymouth, Stonehouse and Devonport Tramways Company Ltd was only operating during this period.
This photo is perfect for taking a look back at how Union Street used to be, compared to today and helping me imagine how it could look in the future.
